How do I specify the color of my dice?

A week or so after the campaign ends you will be able to select the colors for your dice in the pledge manager. This simplifies the pledge process and lets you choose from all of the options that were unlocked during the campaign.

Can I have my aluminum set with rainbow dice (one of each color)?

Yes! Any aluminum set can be in the rainbow color that includes one of each color. You will specify your color choice in the pledge manager after the campaign ends.

The project has had a lot of interest - are you still going to be able to deliver on time?

I planned for a wide range of possible production volumes to make sure that my timeline will work even if the Kickstarter has higher volume. The current volume is well within that planned range.

If the volume approaches a level that might cause delays, I would keep the existing timeline for the current backers and add a second delivery window for future backers who join after that point.

I can't see how to modify my pledge

If you pledged using the Pledge Over Time feature, in order to modify your pledge you actually have to cancel and pledge again. It is a limitation of the current system for this new feature. I’m sorry about the inconvenience!

When will my card be charged?

Your card will be charged when the campaign ends on April 24th.

I'm not sure what I want yet, what should I do?

No problem! You can add or change everything in the pledge manager after the campaign, but you will want to pledge now in order to lock in the Kickstarter discounted pricing and get access to the pledge manager. Take a guess at which pledge tier you will want and you can change it later or cancel anytime before the Kickstarter ends. After the project ends you can still cancel anytime for a full refund before your reward ships. If you get your reward and don’t like it you can also return it for a full refund, so no pressure!

Where do I put in my address and pay for shipping and tax?

All of that happens in the pledge manager after the campaign ends. A week or so after the campaign ends you will be invited to finalize your dice selections and input your shipping information in the pledge manager.

How do I pledge over time?

I am one of the first creators to offer Kickstarter’s new feature that allows backers to split their pledge into 4 equal payments. Here’s how you can take advantage of this option:

You can access Pledge Over Time once you reach a $125 pledge minimum

You will see an option to “Pledge in Full” or “Pledge Over Time”

The first charge will happen when the campaign ends successfully, with the remaining 3 happening every 2 weeks

I want to use Pledge Over Time but I am just barely below the $125 requirement

If you are near the $125 level -for instance if you pledged for one 23mm aluminum 7 piece set at $119, you can increase your pledge manually up to $125 to qualify for Pledge Over Time.

The extra amount will be credited to you in the pledge manager after the campaign and you can apply it to shipping costs or any additional products you might want.

What is BackerKit?

BackerKit is a service that crowdfunded project creators use to keep track of hundreds to tens of thousands of backers—from shipping details, pledge levels, preferences and quantities, whether they have paid or had their card declined, special notes, and everything in between!

The BackerKit software and support team is independent from the campaign’s project team—BackerKit does not handle the actual reward shipping. For more information about the preparation or delivery status of your rewards, please check the project's updates page.

How does BackerKit work?

After the campaign ends, the project creator will send you an email with a unique link to your survey. You can check out a walkthrough of the process here.

I never received my invitation. How do I complete the survey?

The most common reasons for not receiving a survey email is that you may be checking an email inbox different from the email address you used to sign up with Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account, or it may be caught in your spam filter.

Confirm that the email address you are searching matches the email address tied to your Kickstarter, Indiegogo, or Tilt Pro account. If that doesn’t work, then try checking your spam, junk or promotions folders. You can also search for "backerkit” in your inbox.

To resend the survey to yourself, visit the project page and input the email address associated with your Kickstarter, Indiegogo or Tilt Pro account.

How do I update my shipping address?

BackerKit allows you to update your shipping address until the shipping addresses are locked by the project creator. To update your address, go back to your BackerKit survey by inputting your email here.

When will my order be shipped, charged or locked?

That is handled directly by the project creator. BackerKit functions independently of the project itself, so we do not have control of their physical shipping timeline. If you want to check on the project’s status, we recommend reading over the project's updates page.

I completed the survey, but haven't received my rewards yet. When will they arrive?

As BackerKit does not actually handle any rewards or shipping, the best way to stay updated on the shipping timeline would be to check out the project's updates page.
